For the Cherry Sauce:
• Fresh or frozen sweet Cherries • Granulated sugar • Lemon juice

Make the Cherry Sauce:
Add the cherries, sugar, lemon juice, amaretto, cornstarch, and salt to a medium size (2 or 3-quart) saucepan and set the pan over medium-low heat.
Make the White Chocolate Cake:
Preheat the oven to 350° F (176° C). Grease, flour, and line the bottoms of two 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and instant pudding mix to a bowl and stir with a wire whisk to combine.
