How to Make 

Homemade Flour Tortillas

Soft, Buttery, and so EASY


4 cups Flour 1 3/4 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 8 tbsp salted butter 1 1/3 cup warm water

Add all the ingredients to the bowl of a stand mixer and knead with the dough hook until soft, pliable, and slightly sticky.

Hand kneading instructions in the recipe.

Divide the dough into balls, cover, and let rest for 30 minutes

{Or, up to 2 hours.}

Grab a ball of dough and lightly coat it in flour.

Roll the dough in one direction... Give it a turn...

And roll it again. Then start stretching the dough into a circle.

Keep gently stretching and patting the dough into a circle.

Lift it from the counter...

And set it in a very hot skillet.

Let cook on one side for about 20 seconds, then flip!

Let cook on the other side for about 20 seconds, then flip it out of the pan.

Stack tortillas while you continue to roll and cook the rest.
