German Apple Pie ~ The Easiest, Creamiest Apple Pie!
German Apple Pie is one of the easiest and creamiest apple pies I've ever baked. The filling is simply cinnamon and sugar-coated apples covered in cream and sprinkled with sugar.
• Pie crust
• Lemon juice
• Tart, green apples
• All-purpose flour
• Ground cinnamon
Follow our easy instructions for success!
Roll out a pie crust and fit it into a pie plate, crimping the edge so it sits about 1-inch higher than the pie plate.
Core, peel, and slice about 3 pounds of apples, tossing the apples in some lemon juice to prevent them from turning brown.
Pile the apples into the pie crust, gently pressing them into the crust to really pack them in there.
