Everyday Pancake Recipe


2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 5 tbsp sugar 4 large eggs 2 cups buttermilk (or milk) 4 tbsp melted butter 4-6 tbsp butter for the pan

Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl and whisk to combine.

Add the eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter and whisk just until blended.

No buttermilk? No problem.

Don't over mix the batter. Stir just until the ingredients are blended. There will be some lumps.

Quick Tip!

Melt a pat of butter in a skillet set over medium heat.

Pour some batter into the skillet.

Use about 1/3 cup of batter per pancake. 

Cook pancakes over medium to medium-low heat.

When the edges look set and there are little bubbles on the top of the pancakes... flip them over.

Stack pancakes on a plate...

And drown in maple syrup.
