Jam and Preserves
Making jam and fruit preserves is a delicious way to transform the bounty of fresh fruit into something that can be enjoyed all year long.
There's nothing better than a flaky buttermilk biscuit, dripping with butter and spread with a thick layer of homemade strawberry rhubarb jam. And peach preserves slathered on homemade bread or baked into thumbprint cookies are guaranteed to brighten up any dreary winter day.
