This chocolate loaf cake really is a cross between chocolate cake and brownies. It's lighter than fudge brownies, but every bit as fudgy.
The cake's crumb is impossibly soft and tender, cuts into easy to serve slices that you can eat with a plate and fork, or with your fingers, on the go. Eat it plain, or my favorite, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle of hot fudge.

You’ll receive an email each month when a new recipe challenge and prize is announced. This is also how I’ll know how to contact you if you win.
When you sign up for the Bake Club, you’ll be required to put in your name and email address. If you’re selected as the winner, I’ll send you an email and ask you where to send your prize.
(If you’ve signed up in the past, you’re golden. It's not necissary to sign up every month.)

Snap a picture of your Chocolate Loaf Cake and post it to Instagram, tagging it with #OfBatterAndDoughBakeClub.

Just submitted my entry for the February baking challenge. First of all, I am a chocolate FIEND - and can say this has to be the most chocolate-y tasting treat I have tried! Intense (in a good way)! The crumb is moist - a stick to your fork kind and I do have to agree - this IS a cross between a moist chocolate cake and a fudgy brownie. Delicious!
