    Bake something fun, share it with the world, and you could win a Nordic Ware Honeycomb Pull-Apart Pan

    Thank you to all of you who sent in photos of your Almond Plum Cakes! All of your cakes looked gorgeous and I was thrilled to hear from many of you who wrote to tell me that the recipe has been added to your list of favorites.

    New York Cheesecake!

    I've made this cheesecake countless times over the years, including for a few weddings. One bride told me recently that even though she's been married for over 12 years, people still bring up her wedding cake as the best cheesecake they've ever eaten. 🙂

    New York-style cheesecake is tall, dense, and incredibly rich and creamy. The pinnacle of indulgence. Making this cheesecake couldn't be easier. But, I've also shared everything I know about making it, storing it, freezing it, serving it, and even transporting and decorating it for a special occasion.

    Sign Up to Join The Bake Club

    You’ll receive an email each month when a new recipe challenge and prize is announced. This is also how I’ll know how to contact you if you win.

    When you sign up for the Bake Club, you’ll be required to put in your name and email address. If you’re selected as the winner, I’ll send you an email and ask you where to send your prize.

    (If you’ve signed up in the past, you’re golden. It's not necissary to sign up every month.)

    Bake This Month's Challenge Recipe and Show It Off!

    Snap a picture of your gorgeous New York Cheesecake and post it to Instagram, tagging it with #OfBatterAndDoughBakeClub.

      Hi. I have been inspired to have a go in the bake challenge. Do entries for the August competition really need to be submitted by 1st August? Can I change the crust to a Gluten Free crust? Seems to be minimal wheat flour which I will also substitute in filling. I am also interested in changing the topping.

        Hi Dianne! Welcome to the Bake Club! And, THANK YOU for catching that embarrassing typo. Entries for the August Bake Club challenge must be submitted before September 1st, not August 1st. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I've corrected that mistake. 😊

        And yes - you are more than welcome to change any bake club recipe however you like. In fact, I encourage it! It's always fun to see how people have taken a recipe and made adjustments to suit their personal tastes and preferences.
