Bake Something Fun, share it with the world, and {maybe} win a Jubilee Bundt Pan.
Fellow bakers, I've been thinking about launching a monthly bake club for a while. The reasons are mostly selfish. One of my favorite things about this blog is hearing from YOU after you bake one of the recipes you found here. I get an even bigger thrill when you post or send me a picture of what you made.
After all, one of the most enjoyable things about baking is getting to share what we bake with others. We might not all get to sit down at the same table and enjoy a slice of whatever we baked that day, but the magic of the internet is that we can still share it.
That's what the monthly Bake Club Challenge is meant to be about. Every month I'll share a new recipe, probably with a few step-by-step tutorials or baking tips. If you participate by sharing a picture of what you made, you'll be entered into a drawing to win a prize.
Bake something fun. Share it with the world {or just with me}. And, maybe win a prize.
I don't see a downside here, do you?
The April 2019 Bake Club Challenge Recipe:
8-layer lemon cake with blackberry Italian meringue buttercream
This gorgeous cake is waaaaaaay more impressive and delicious than it is difficult. 8 thin layers of buttery yellow cake are brushed with Limoncello, layered with lemon curd and then covered in blackberry Italian Meringue Buttercream. The cake is Spring on a plate and I can't wait to hear what you think of it.
If you're a seasoned baker, you'll find the recipe for both the Lemon Layer Cake and Italian Meringue Buttercream pretty straight forward. If you're a new {or new-ish} baker, you'll find step-by-step instructions plus links to a few baking how-to articles in the recipe posts for both the cake and the buttercream.
If you have questions along the way, leave a comment on this post and I'll get back to you with an answer just as soon as I possibly can.

Unfortunately I just discovered your blog today, on the last day of the month so it's too late for me to participate. I hope you put on another challenge for May!

I really like those cupcake molds or cups. Which are they and where can I get some?
